Orthopedic Rehab & Sports Medicine for  Athletes at Aspire PT & Wellness

Injuries keeping you from the activities you love? Want to reach a whole new level in your athletic performance (even without an injury)? Aspire can help.

Our orthopedic rehab is ideal for sport-related injuries in young adults, teens, or other athletes, and has a heavy emphasis on recovery specific to each activity. And because each plan is unique to each athlete, it’s customizable enough to be effective in the long run.  With the support and guidance of our PT team, you can get back to doing the things you love after surgery, an injury, or an accident.

We don’t just work with you after an injury occurs, either. Using our years of experience in sports medicine, we take a full-body approach to your performance. Our athletic physical therapy plans consider the entire musculoskeletal system, and pay close attention to the bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and joints so you can prevent injury and perform better.

Let’s get you back to the big game. Book a physical therapy assessment below!

Orthopedic Rehab Treatment Options

Whether you have an injury or are seeking improved athletic performance, we may recommend a range of treatment options, including:

  • Mobilization and Exercise

For patients with muscle, joint, or bone pain/injuries. This is the “traditional” physical therapy, and includes manual therapy (such as soft tissue mobilization/massaging) and evidence-based exercises.

  • Pilates

Pilates is a widely used technique to help support flexibility, mobility, and muscle strength without the use of high-impact exercises.

  • Trigger Point Dry Needling

Trigger points are localized, tight muscles that can form painful knots when overworked. To help release them, a thin, monofilament needle is placed in the localized area. Dry needling is safe and effective.

  • Myofascial Decompression (Cupping)

Cupping uses suction to draw blood to or away from specific areas to help relieve pain. Other benefits include reduced inflammation and improved blood flow.

Each cupping session lasts just a few minutes and feels similar to a deep tissue massage.

  • Functional Medicine

Using the power of nutrition, we’ll pair your physical treatment plan with a food-based one as well. This includes taking a deep dive into your nutritional habits, hydration, stress management, sleep patterns and more.

  • … and more!

Our expert physical therapists also offer joint and soft tissue mobilization, balance and proprioception training, gait training, kinesiology taping, functional medicine consults, and more!
